DONE! Shout out to Zokudu and Chubbyfatazn for helping me. mnewsham, heres an early call out for you too, now go fence.
NIGHT :)

I have some problems that need to be solved.

1)
What is the pH of 325.0 mL of an aqueous solution containing 0.671 g of the strong acid trifluoromethane sulfonic acid (CF3SO3H)
Verified by chubbyfatazn

I got 1.86 but apparently thats wrong

EDIT: Webassign answer is WRONG. (POS)

2)
How many grams of solute are present in 40.0 mL of 1.33 M CoSO4?
Done, Thanks to Zokudu

3)
If 4.50 g of (NH4)2SO4 is dissolved in enough water to form 250. mL of solution, what is the molarity of the solution?
Done, Thanks to Zokudu

4)
How many milliliters of 0.510 M NiCl2 contain 1.00 g of solute?
Done, Thanks to Zokudu

5)
Indicate the concentration of each ion present in the solution formed by mixing the following. (Assume that the volumes are additive.) 40 mL of 0.100 M HCl and 10.0 mL of 0.570 M HCl. Find H+ and Cl-
Done, Thanks to my friend, M

6)
If you dilute 30.0 mL of the stock solution to a final volume of 1.00 L, what will be the concentration of the diluted solution?
Locked out due to 3 misses, good tries Zokudu

7)
What volume of 0.0100 M calcium hydroxide is required to neutralize 37.00 mL of 0.0250 M nitric acid?
Done, Thanks to Chubbyfatazn

If ATOT can solve this, I will be in your debt forever! Thanks!

Do you own work, you asked me to help you like 3 hours ago, what have you been doing since?

This question is so difficult...

You could try calculating it using the Ka/pKa

That's what I got as well. Answer key wrong?
I don't know, happens occasionally

"For 2:
40 mL * (1L/1000mL) * (1.33 moles CoSO4 / 1L) = moles of CoSO4 then multiply by the molecular weight to get grams."

thats what you posted ;)

I think it's wrong. I'm attempting to work it out again but until then I left a message to show you the scorn I feel for performing your work.

3:

4.5g * 1 mole/(132.1402g(mass of (NH4)2SO4)) = 0.03405 moles of (NH4)2SO4
0.03405 moles of (NH4)2SO4 / .25L of solution = .1362

If only there was a class you could take where the teacher showed you how to solve these kinds of questions...

You need to understand the concepts not, the individual steps to solve a certain type of problem. Granted, the time frame you're dealing with allows for little else but rote memory. So, you need a plan for learning the material after you fail the test and, a plan to keep it from happening again. Then, take a shower. :)

Theses are usually easy, but the fact is, theyll probably move the test back to Monday because we have over 118 people emailing all the chem teachers telling them the webassigns are fucked up and what not.

I just took a shower, bout to eat a snack
