It appears this book has neither SparkNotes or Cliff Notes. Tough luck

I have been reading but the book is a translation in english from the french version. The english is complicated, and sometimes don't make sense. English is my fourth language, and i'm taking a summer B class in the university. I was supposed to graduate in Summer A, but advisors told me to take classes that after i completed them were not good toward electives, so i have now taken 3 more classes for summer B. But its a 6 week class, and the teacher is horrible(test and HW almost everyday), and between WORK/CLASSES and my english reading this book is tough. I need some info only. Not the book report, but would help. i want to know excatly the point the author wants to pass on. Appearantly every page is a different thought.
