uptime doesn't work for XP

If I try to get a remote uptime from a WIN XP Pro (\\wrkst3 has WIN XP on it) machine then it doesn't seem to work.

d:\>uptime \\wrkst3
Unable to determine system uptime, see UPTIME /help.

Can somebody tell me why and of course how to fix it??

Works for me under XP.

Uptime is based on the event logs. If there's no entry for the last time a boot occured it will not be able to determine the uptime.

No it has to be some kind of network permisson thing. I can run uptime on the local machine and it runs fine.

Any thoughts out there??

systeminfo /s wrkst3
and see if you are able to get it from that

Anybody else got an idea??
