Upsafe gmail back up

Has anyone heard or used this free software? It seems like a cool idea to have a free back up for your gmail acct just in case.

I use Thunderbird and Outlook to access my gmail on other computers, but they do NOT take mail off the account when downloaded to a pc. I think that is plenty of backup.
