with fedex I have to deal with signing the paper everytime, not problem for me but is of inconvenient.
with UPS, the guy just drops it rung the bells, me get it and he wave hand as he drive a way, very nice...
anyone who say fedex is good, they messes up too and it took me additional 5 days to get it including weekend.
but i prefer UPS because its much less of a hassle getting your package.

I'm tired of getting UPS packages that look like they were dragged behind the truck...

Here's an example... UPS used to deliver packages for pro sound and stage lighting... (lots of expensive dj equipment) They broke one of my speakers, half of the light covers were bent to beat hell, and stuff was just not taken care of the way it should have been.

Fedex packages always look like they've been taken care of, and they're even so considerate to leave the stuff in the garage...

Guess who pro sound and stage lighting uses for shipping now? You guessed it... fedex.

yeah they don;t take care of the package, plus with fedex u can signa form that says they can live the package at your door, just sign that man, thats what i did, never had a problem with them shipping packages to other places, also they are alot faster than UPS, fedex gets to my house 2-3 days faster than ups

I'd much rather have the "hassle" of signing for a package then some guy just dropping if off at the door for anyone to take.

I have my sig on file with FedEx. They just leave it on the porch...the always hide it from view of the street too. UPS and AB are the same way also.

I've had a few packages from Dell shipped FedEx Ground, and they leave them right in front of my door. Nothing like seeing a $2000 laptop just sitting on your porch...

At my company, UPS is the only one to destroy one of our products. They are in metal chassis and you can run over them in a light truck with no damage.

Fedex lost one that was sent to Canada (actually, it showed up, 4 weeks later, but even then, fedex had no record of it being delivered).

UPS payed the insured value. Fedex insisted on only paying the manufacturing cost, which is half of the value we insured it for.

LOL, true, but what about price?
Yep, they beat them just as long as it's a commercial address. Resident tacks on like a $1 fee.

I'm sorry but you're a fvcking idiot. I guess that 300th package was the last straw huh? You decided after the 299th package was delivered to the wrong address that you'd give them one more shot

FedEx. I've worked for UPS so I know how they treat packages, b/c I used to "treat" packages :p FedEx - my aunt works for them and I've gotten a tour of their facilities. Much better "treatment". Every box I've ever gotten from UPS is banged up or fvcked up.

UPS just throws everything on the truck. My mom used to work there part time and they treated her like crap.

Fedex always delivers my box without any mysterious tears or dents on the box, which is something I always expect to see when shipped UPS.

I only had one thing shipped Airborne Express. I had to get something shipped overnight for a christmas present. They wanted half the price of UPS, but they guaranteed nothing. HOwever, the package arrived on time. The condition of tha package? Well, they put the thing in a bag, so I have no idea if they threw teh stuff or treated it like a baby. I dont like the idea of shipping in a bag, but it was only 3 t shirts.

i hate UPSes brown truck, but they always faster than FedEx, which doesn't say much, 2nd day usually takes 4-5 days. Go with USPS!

I prefer UPS because no signature required, usually very slow at delivering package heh you know them kids they sometime take too much time rearranging boxes and trying to get thing right lol. so if they drop your package at 7-8pm, the chances of anyone taking it is NULL.
You just have to learn how to be nice to this little guy they are busting their butt lifting heavy boxes and they have to do it fast and I mean ASAP.
Fedex on the other hand, will want you to come over and pick it up if you're not alway home
and you know how much of a pain that is having to drive all the way to their facility so much for convenient?
You know the funny thing about fedex is that I sign something on the back as well waiving signature for future delivery so that next time they come over and not require signature, is completely ignored. Talk about someone not pay attention to your request. :(
so everytime they make delivery, I have to sign it even if I'm there standing right in front of them! is very paranoid, is privacy invasion... :\

Here's one I just received from FedEx. The driver leaves this stuff in front of the garage door and doesn't even knock. I've never received a package this banged up from UPS, and the driver always at least knocks on the door. I've noticed FedEx shipping prices are lower, so I suppose you get what you pay for.

You didn't show the rest of the package but that's just improper packaging materials in that secondary red box

The rest of the package was OK. There's no reason why that box should be so banged up. It's essentially double boxed, but the guy who shipped it to me probably knows how it will be treated, so he added the extra protection.

The previous week, I got a package shipped via UPS straight from the manufacturer in the same container without the extra cardboard and shrink wrap. Looked like new when it arrived!

I like UPS, our guy has worked the same route for like 10 years, he's cool, the stuff gets here in good shape. FedEx sucks, generally the boxes are always beat up, and its a pain to sign the paper every time.
