I was wondering what different shipping carriers everyone is using these days. There are different arguements about who is cheaper and who offers more support. Personally I am fine with USPS, but are they really the cheapest. :disgust:

USPS. priority mail never fails to deliver in two days ANYWHERE I've shipped in the US.

I've shipped to New Hampshire and New York from California, both of which arrived at the destination in two days. Top notch speed considering how cheap priority mail is.

EDIT: Where's the POLL?!

USPS is hawt for sending, USPS or FedEx are hawt for recieving. I know people who work for UPS, they openly talk about abusing packages for fun, and DHL/Airborne is just shitty.

If your talkign UPS style well...do you truely believe a package is in your city when they say it is? and if so then why doesn't it actually ever get to you till 2 days later :disgust:

Try sending an important document or package using USPS and DC...when you tell your customer that you have DC and no "real " tracking they will not be to happy. ESp if it is lost...

UPS and FedEx tracking is very accurate. All packages are scanned when departing and arriving.

DAM UPS sucks. Had a package scheduled for delivery today, it's delayed until monday. I was hoping to play with my new hdtv receiver for the weekend. I asked if I can pick it up myself, and no they can't do that until it goes onto the truck. Grrr.

Yeah, FedEx is more lax when it comes to picking up your package at the station. If they missed you, you can call them and have them hold it at the station and and you can pick it up after 6PM.

I voted USPS because they're cheap for 2-3 day priority and haven't failed me yet. Next is Fed Ex, then UPS at the bottom.

If you miss UPS you can pick it up from them too after 6PM. I like that FedEx has my signature on file and they will leave the package for me. I never miss one that way.

Most Post Offices close @ 5 or 6PM, and the UPS Store is open till 7PM.

when I ship stuff out, USPS is best for me.. havent shipped big stuff yet.. just small things.

So far, I have been lucky with UPS FEDEX and USPS.. but fedex seems more reliable.. donno why :p they are actually all same to me.
