BLOOMINGTON,
IN, US 11/16/2006 9:55 A.M. DELIVERY

Yeah, well, there's only one problem: it's not here. Tracking says front door. Guess what, it's not at my front door.

Dammit.

Not like USPS is any better. Checked status online says delivered at 3:40. I actually saw the mailman and his truck at that time outside my gate. The guy doesn't bother to deliver it to my house but gives it to my neighbor who happens to be going into his house. So I don't end up getting it till the next day.

USPS said it delivered a package yesterday, and just today the mailman put it in my mailbox. Dumbshovers.

One time I have a motherboard ordered from Newegg that were placed in front of my drive way. And that's about 20-25 feets from the front door. Lucky its still there when I got back (I guess it didn't sit at the driveway too long).
I also have receive post cards from UPS about not being able to deliver the package because they couldn't find the address. Good thing post-carrier was able to deduce the correct address despite the incorrect one printed on the post card. I check online with sportsauthority.com where I place the order and the shipping address is correct on their end, so someone in the UPS processing must have entered the wrong address. I call the UPS to reschedule and they have the balls to ask me if I wanted to pick it up despite the fact the station is good 30+ miles away. I was able to re-schedule and get re-delivered after a week when it should have been just 3 days.

UPS blows. Every delivery problem I've had has been with UPS. :(

There, I said it.

Usually I would say that. I still would rather have them ship my stuff than FedEx. But this is the one time in which time is of the essence - I am without a PC soon now because of this - and they screw it up. And only one of my neighbors is nice enough to give it back if they gave it to them accidentally.

The worst part about them IMHO was the customer service. Other than that, they came through in the clutch, but I'd never really trust them with something that HAD TO BE THERE on time 100%.
