Ok, my apologies to you UPS employees out there, but man I am pissed. For the umpteenth time now they have lost my package!!
Since I am the one ordering the shipment the people who I ordered from use UPS, and as a customer I have no choice in the delivery method. Ugh!
I pay extra to get it here fast.. but it never fails my packages get here later than the promised time, and for what I paid for. Sooo I have to go through the hassle of calling the company and complaining that I paid XX amount of money for one day or two day delivery which I did not recieve and ask for a refund... etc, etc.
On top of that today once again, my package is late. I look up the tracking and see no info. I call UPS and they say they have lost the package. They tell me I have to call the company that sent it and have them put a tracer on the package. I ask UPS what exactly is a tracer? They say it is when they send a person out to look for the package and check who scanned it in last. I say to the customer service rep, why can't they do that now? Why do they need the company who shipped it to tell them to do that? Does that cost the shipper extra money or something? They say no, its just policy. WTF??? I then ask well, then can the receiver of the package ask you to do that? No, only the shipper can ask us to do this. GAWD!!! Frustrating...
UPS sucks... Thats all I gotta say... and I think the companies that utilize them must be getting some cheap benefit for utilizing their crappy service.
Ok rant over....
