cry us a river please. everyone, please make a pointless topic here on ATOT whenever you are mad or disappointed about something. It can be anything at all, so long as it is pointless. And make sure to give no details whatsoever, because, we, the populace of ATOT do not give a rats ass about you or your continued prosperity/depression/stupidity. k, thx.
but i actually like ups more than fedex because they will deliver stuff early
while fedex will have it in their shipping containters in my hub for like 4 days before it gets delivered
Actually our UPS is nice. Well yes the package is being shipped thru states but it always gets here in perfect shape. Fedex and UPS and USPS and AB is equal to me.
I'm currently 0 for 2 with UPS.
I bought a guitar amplifier from someone on Anandtech, UPS ended up totally destroying the amp.
Now this amp was a tank. The wood surrounding it is 1.5 inches thick, and it was literally cracked in half with screws pulled directly out of the wood and all.
It was a Crate amp, and they are well known for their extremely durable amps.
Fast forward about 6 months and UPS finally settles up and I get my insurance money and they get a busted amp.
I was content with that, only UPS lost money in that deal so I decide to trust buying the same amp from another person who insisted on shipping with UPS.
.........the amp arrives busted again. Now not to the extreme of the first time but still, damage like this could only be explained by the terrible care the workers have for their packages.
The first amp I bought HAD to have fallen off the truck in transport and run over by a semi or something.
Now I have a replacement stock radio on its way for my van, hopefully it arrives in one piece.
UPS is a business oriented shipping company. You don't like them, don't use them. Don't have a choice? Then don't buy from the places that only ship with them.
UPS rocks for business shipping... ground shipping is guaranteed, and usually only 2-3 days, and pretty cheap compared to other carriers.
