Yea, I mentioned a half year ago about how it promotes slavery and such but no one listens to me.

I think it's fitting, UPS is sh*t.. I had my dj equipment sent via them and they ended up crushing a lot of my stuff and causing all sorts of problems.

Fedex is awesome... my packages don't look like they played football or any various sport that involves beating the piss out of something.

So true. I'm not sure what's up with UPS. They really seem to beat their packages to death. Even the last computer case I purchased from a local computer store had broken styrofoam surrounding the case. The salespeople opened the box up before I left the store to check the case to make sure it wasn't damaged like the box and packing materials were.

Hey PowerMac4Ever... Would you be happy if you ordered $7000 in equipment... and UPS managed to destroy one speaker (cracked it right down the middle)... light covers, they bent my truss, and I'm lucky that they were kind enough to have a little respect for my disco ball.

Believe me, I was NOT happy to find my expensive equipment thrown around like it was meant to be damaged.

I've ordered a CRAPLOAD of stuff that gets shipped via fedex... and not one has looked the way UPS does.

I've even had stuff shipped via Yellow before, and they didn't damage my equipment (cerwin vega subwoofer and amp).

So, which would you use? A service that ruins your packages or at least makes you cringe when you see the box and then makes you pray that it's still ok, or at least getting a decent looking box that leaves you stress free.

Answer me with a UPS response and I know you've lost it.

I think it's the worst slogan ever. I love the company and art scheme but the slogan sucks a dick.

Ever hear of the "dirty sanchez"? Every time I heat that slongan, that's what I think of.

If you don't know the joke, I won't post it, not ATOT appropriate, plus I don't remember the exact phrasing.

Maybe it was a sh1tty packing job.

UPS is great, I guess they are #1 for other reasons...

UPS has delivered numerous stuff to my house, the box looks all beaten up, the styrofoam cracked, the only reason I'm not more pissed is because the product is fine.

Whereas with Fedex... the box is nice and dandy. And I find Fedex faster than UPS. The UPS guy likes to deliver at 6 PM while Fedex delivers at 3 PM. :)

never had a problem with UPS or Fedex

and actually prefer them because FedEx always takes their sweet ass time to deliver something

For instance if something is sent to me from 1 hour away it will take like 4 days for express saver but UPS ground would take 2 days max but usually one
Fedex Fedsaver is faster from west to east coast though

Fedex Ground IMO totally sucks
i am waiting 9 days for a package when UPS would have it in 5 days typically from the west coast

I like their racing commericals where they are trying to get DJ to race the truck. "Everybody loves the Truck."

Personally, I have never had a real problem with Fedex or UPS. And for that matter, Airborne, USPS, Southwest Cargo, Delta Cargo, AA Cargo, DHL and a few other no names I have used. Maybe I am just lucky that I haven't had a problem with any of them.

Plus, if you're not home and a signature is required, you can usually head to the FedEx station and pick the package up after 5:00 P.M. that same day. UPS used to allow me to do that a few years ago, but stopped the practice. Now, if I want to pick up a "signature required" package from UPS, I have to call and make arrangements - which means no earlier than the following day. Given those hurdles, it's always easier with UPS to sign their tag and let the delivery person leave it on the step the next day.
