UPS recommendation for Corsair VS650 650 Watt PSU?

My new PC specs-
Processor : AMD FX 8350 AMD FX
Graphic card : Sapphire AMD/ATI Radeon Dual-X R9 270X with Boost OC 2 GB 2 GB DDR5
Motherboard : MSI 970A-G43
PSU : Corsair VS650 650 Watt PSU
8 GB : DD3 Ram
1 Hard drive : 560 gb ATA seagate
I connect the CPU with my HDMI supported TV so it acts as my monitor but i dont want to connect it with the UPS as it will require more power.
I was told i'd require a 1 KVA UPS to handle this system... so would 1 KVA UPS will be sufficient to deliver atleast 10 to 15 mins of back for this pc during power failure?
Power cut here isnt for too long, max 5 mins...
ps- As i already had two UPS from V guard (140 V - 300 VAC 50 hz Input & 230 VAC output 10 -+)

Intex greenx 725 with 600va/360w output, which i have been using with my older pc but at this new pc was getting shut down immediately after power cut :'( could it be earthing problem?

That should be sufficient. Unless he's really pushing the limit, though, his system should mostly draw at maximum something less than the rated PSU spec.

Here, I'm offering a "speculation." If the unattended computer never draws as much as half that wattage, then it would only come close when gaming under user attendance. But the UPS should be sufficient to sustain that wattage just briefly -- whatever it might be -- allowing time to terminate the game. 1000 VA should be more than sufficient without any worries about the momentary dependence on the battery with the gaming load.

No sense in cutting it any closer than that. Anything bigger could be justified if other devices are connected to the "battery" side of the grounded AC plugs.

The price difference isn't that much in india. 800va makes no sense. The price won't be that much cheaper. He's in india.

Yeah a typical 1000VA should do the job. Whatever you can get at the store, basically. 1000VA = 600w. You want to power your monitor too though, but typical LCDs don't really draw much power. Way under 100w. Mine is about 30w. 19v and 1.6a
