I bought an IBM Office Professional 500 which I think I will return and get an APC. Now tech support tells me the ups shutdown won't work with Win 95,98,ME, etc. because it is a contact type ups. What the heck is a contact type ups? Does this also mean there is another type of ups too? If so what are the differences? Mine didn't time out and shut down the ups.
