UPS question - what do I need?

a friend owns a bar/club and we wants to purchase 6-7 UPSs to keep the computer/credit card machines up.

ideally, he'd like 30-45 mins of up time.

any recommendations?

Keep in mind... there will be 45 minutes of beeping/warning from these machines... its annoying but at least you have power 🙂

Only $85

Thats the one I use but its probably overkill for a credit card machine. Its a good brand and the prices are pretty good. I would definately look at cybepower. I prefer it over APS.

It has 8 outlets though, that should run more than just a single credit card machine.

i'm thinking maybe 4 UPSs w/2 outlets each

Yeah, but only 4 ports are battery-backup. The other four only provide surge protection. You probably only need 2 of these.
