I cannot stand UPS anymore. I have always heard the horror stories about them destroying boxes and missing shipments, but I've never really had a problem with them. That is, until the last few months. They seem to just do whatever they want as soon as you release the package. Overnight? Oh that's nice... we'll get it there in a week. Second day air? Eh, we might get it there in two days "UPS time".
The first one they messed up for me was back in December. I had time sensitive, critical legal documents (only 5 pages in a UPS envelope) that I paid $35(!!!!!) for overnight saturday delivery to be there by monday. Well guess UPS didn't feel like it was important enough for them... they waited until the following WEDNESDAY to get it there. Their excuse? Nothing. "Sorry, our bad, want a refund?". Then there was a package in January that I don't even remember the story, I just remember it was late. And now today, I just bought something off AT FS/T yesterday. I couldn't wait to get it, so again I paid three times the normal cost to get the package overnighted. It should be here TODAY. Will it? Look for yourself. Of course not! Let's see... overnight, sent on the 9th is....... the 11th in UPS time! But of course! Again. Their excuse? Nothing. "Bummer dude, call us when you get the package and request a refund." They're extremely non-chalant about it too. Bet it happens .A LOT. I've also got a second day air package from somewhere completely different, sent on the 8th, which means it too should be here today. They've managed to screw this one up too!!!!! I'm betting anything I won't see it today either.
Anyone else have any problems like this? From now on, I know I'm sticking with FedEx.
