UPS is suck! and so is BUY.COM!

I ordered two things from buy.com earlier this week. One of them was a book, and it got here ok through USPS. The other item was sent through UPS. Apparently, buy.com gave ups the wrong zipcode!

Fortulately, I caught it while it was still in trasnit. They put a 9 where a 0 should be. In my account informatoin on buy.com, it shows a 0. So it was either human error or a printer error.

So, I call up UPS last night. I correct the zip code and the woman on the phone says it will be delivered monday to the corrected zip code. Well, I look it up on their databse this morning and it says "delivered." So I think to myself "oh, good, its early." But then I look at the details, and it was delivered to the wrong city!

So, I call up UPS and they say "yeah, it was delivered to 98195"
So I told them I called in last night and corrected it.
They take a while, and then say "oh, I see the correction down here"

WTF!?? If there was a correction, why wasnt it delivered to there?!?

Make them reroute the package with Saturday delivery (UPS will deny that they deliver on Sat. but they do) Also, call buy.com and have them refund your shipping. You may also be able to get free shipping on your next order if you keep your cool. When you call them (email dosen't work) get the persons name (CS agent) and let them know that you are very upset but that you do not want to take it out on them. It will give the person motivation to help you and he/she will be greatfull that you new it was not her/his fault.

Rerouting the package wont happen.
Its already been delivered... to some guy about 20 min from here

UPS slightly pissed me off today. They attempted to deliver my new motherboard yesterday. No one was home, so they left the usual yellow ticket. On the ticket the guy checked of that they'd be back between noon and 3PM. Well, they knocked on my door at 9:45 this morning. Good thing I was here. I had just gotten back in from dropping my roomate off at work. I would have been pissed if I had missed them.

Then contact buy.com have them ship a new one to you with free overnight. It was there mistake so they should pick up the cost.

Buy.com is one of the better online stores out there, hell, I'll even say Buy.com RULES!

again, how can he say that it was there mistake and not his own typing error????

and another thing, because of the size of buy.com, i find it hard to believe that a person manually types in an zip code anywhere in the shipping process, and how often does a priinter display character wrong??? not that i have ever heard of...

Dude... do you understand what has been said to you, twice now.
In his account info on Buy.com, which is used to ship things out, it is correct..
Therefore, its not his fault

one was shipped via USPS
that came ok with the correct zip code

the other had the wrong zip code.

If I look at my oder details on their website, it shows the correct zip code.
