UPS: "IN TRANSIT TO FINAL DESTINATION" WTF?

Anyone have this message ever with UPS? Shipping service is basic, the package has been in town as of 2am tuesday. I have never seen "IN TRANSIT TO FINAL DESTINATION." What kind of service is basic? I thought ground was the most basic they had. 😕

That's usually phrased "Out for Delivery".

Has it been in transit long, I mean, did the last scan happen in a city near you? If so, they may have changed the wording.

^I'd edit that but popups crash firefox for me. (I just read that it's in his city.)

Looks like it's sitting in the loading area, NOT on a truck.

Its been sitting in the city I live in since tues at 2am. I live in a small city, like 20k people. I have another package that is being delivered today that is out for delivery that was the in the same hub and showed up the early this morning. Maybe they damaged the box and are now trying to figure out what to do.

If it's ground delivery and they have a few days, they NEVER seem to rush it. I think they want you to pay the higher rates so they taunt you...seriously.
