UPS has a new logo!

Hehe, my neightbor is the UPS District Manager for my area, and he was wearing his new UPS logo stuff the other day and he explained that they were changing the logo - personally, I think it looks better 🙂

Press Release

ATLANTA, March 25, 2003 - UPS today unveiled a ?new look? that includes the first redesign in more than 40 years of the company?s famous ?shield? logo.

UPS said the change reflects the significant broadening of capabilities that has occurred in recent years as the company expanded across the globe and introduced a portfolio of new supply chain services. The company will continue to use the color brown for its operations, but the logo change includes elimination of the package with a string bow atop the shield.

They handed out Pins at our daily meetings, I plan on selling it on ebay for a $1, I have no use for it.

I forgot to mention that UPS is no longer United Parcel Service, they are simple now just UPS. Somehow they want you to associate World Wide Services with UPS since they no longer just transport and deliver packages.

Their new logo should've included a picture of a damp, beaten up box with several gaping holes in it.

"UPS - We never deliver on time because our warehouse boys are having too much fun playing forklift-soccer with your valuable packages"

you mean you don't like your package to sit on the bottom of the truck under a 68lb package while its raining and the truck is leaking, then when it gets unloaded/reloaded it rips because the cardboard is now flimsy and wet and is dropped/kicked/punched and finally delivered to you. Who would have thought? 😛
