I ordered a Scythe Ninja from NewEgg and it shipped on the 10th, and I am not going to recieve it until the 15th! That's 4 business days! Can I complain to NewEgg or something about this?

They probably only received the electronic information on the 10th early in the day, and it didn't leave Newegg until the very end of the day.

if you ordered it after say 3pm pacific on the 10th, then they are within thier limits of 3 business days.

You are such an idiot. If it shipped on Friday the 10th, and it arrives on Wednesday the 15th... THAT IS THREE BUSINESS DAYS.
Normally they have a cutoff time where if you ship it before that time, the day you shipped it counts as a business day.

It gets delivered in the same time as UPS 3 day guaranteed...
What you did was pay some extra money for the same service + a gurarantee. And when it says guaranteed it means you just get your money back on shipping if it is late.

So If I go to the UPS place right when they open at 8AM and ship an item "Next Day Air" it'll be delivered by the end of the day? After all, like you said, if it's early enough it'll count as a business day. Or I guess if I ship 2nd Day Air it'll be there tomorrow because now we're talking 2 business days. Most flawed logic ever.

The day it gets picked up does not count as a business day. Hence 2nd day delivery will be delivered in two days. Or in your case 3rd day delivery will be delivered in 3 days. Lesson in counting: you dont count where you are at.

Next Day = it'll be delivered tomorrow
2nd Day = it'll be delivered the day after tomorrow
3rd Day = it'll be delivered the day after the day after tomorrow.
There are no "well they moved it a few miles today" contingencies in the shipping industry. Go to www.ups.com then www.fedex.com and www.dhl.com and don't come back until you've read the entire terms of services of every one of those companies it'll save you from unnecessary bashing.

Same thing happend to me last week through newegg, 5 days to ship 3 day UPS. The item was in UPS's possession for 5 days, not that it was stuck in the billing phase.
