I feel cheated. Plus my UPS guy is really cool and thinks it's funny my dog barks at him.

Same with mine, and my dog too... it's really strange actually, most people and even fedex, he just gives a token "woof", but the UPS truck really sends him into a frenzy for some reason

All of my UPS packages are good too, although I use FedEx often as well, so that may be part of it. USPS is the worst.

We got like 50-100 packages a week at my old job through UPS. Big ones, little ones, giant ones with almost nothing inside. Never had any major damage, but then we switched to partial UPS and partial FedEx, and FedEx started tossing them around a lot.

So it's a bit of each, I've gotten a lot through both companies, both seem alright, but FedEx does seem to be a bit faster, and care a little more lately.

I receive the most banged up packages from UPS. That being said, shippers are more aware then ever, & nothing has ever been damaged. :) My UPS guy has saved my brother from getting arrested, & even stopped in for a quick bite at a BBQ. Good Guy. :)

Talk about beyond the call of duty. What did he do? Stick the cop in his truck and ship him off to China?

Not quite. I've talked here before about how my brother isn't the most savory of characters. Mr. UPS(I wouldn't want him to get in trouble) had just dropped something off for us not twenty minutes ago. He rings our doorbell & tells my family that my brother is on the corner a few blocks down being put into a car. We thank him & run out of the house. There was an undercover sting going on & my brother was supposedly dealing. We engage the officer & try to get the full story. We manage to get my brother put into our custody instead of spending a night or two in the general population.

I hope we see him again before the new year. I completely forgot about getting the guy a card.

I've never had a package from any delivery service damage enough to affect the contents inside at all (minor tears and dents at most).

I guess I've gotten lucky, but they seem to have taken decent care of the stuff they've delivered to me, be they USPS, UPS, FedEx, or DHL.

I've been inside the local UPS sort facility and have to say its a miracle that none of the packages I've gotten from them have been worse off then they have. They do a horrible job of taking care of packages, and for that reason, while I'm sure they're no angels themselves, I only use USPS or FedEx with my packages that I send.

I have to say I've never had a bad delivery person either. They've all been nice, some even great.

I've never had a problem with FedEx. Ever. USPS once left a laptop outside my door, DHL once delivered a package 3 days late because "a truck had a flat tire" *rolleyes,* but i've had 2 UPS packages come horribly beaten up. Nothing was ever damaged, but it could have been bad.
