I'll just keep it short and straight to the point:
I bought a PS2 from someone on here. Got it, package looked a little beat up but nothing terrible but ps2 itself was damaged. More than one thing was wrong with it. The power ribbon, controller ribbon and dvd drive were all faulty. Seller tells me to file claim with UPS so I give him my info and he files supposedly. Thought this was a little weird from the begining but he said it worked perfectly when he shipped it out. Now, I started purchasing the parts to correct the problem spent $25 so far so I was pretty pissed when he announced to me that if UPS keeps it after the claim goes through he'll still keep the ps2 even though he'll be compensated for it already.
My first question is does UPS usually discard the damaged items or do they return them to the buyer or seller?
My second question is wtf should I do? I'm pretty pissed as is, I spent my own money on top of my own time (about 3 hrs) messing with it to get it working so, so.
Any help is appreciated [/rant]
