UPS says they can't deliver my overnight package today because of weather conditions. It is snowing, a whole 1/2 to 1 inch of accumulation possible!

I hope they don't operate this way in colder climates. They will never deliver anything.

We had eight inches of snow a couple of days ago, but I seem to recall seeing their trucks out and about.

You'll get a shipping refund. You never know, there could be issues at the airport. That's usually the problem when weather comes into play.

The UPS truck with your package isn't just driving around in your neighbourhood.

What if it's been slowed down by snow elsewhere and just can't possibly get to your door today?

Probably delays at the airport, package didn't make it onto the truck before it left the terminal.

Considering I am in Raleigh right now, its a bit funny.
I'm not angry about it, it is from a client who always ships me stuff overnight, but just found it strange they consider this weather too tough to deliver.

Check out the lie they fed me today... I ordered 2 boxes from the same place, the first one was delivered and is sitting on my desk.... the second one had this bullshit fabrication attached to the tracking page:

THE RECEIVER REQUESTED A HOLD FOR A FUTURE DELIVERY DATE. UPS WILL ATTEMPT DELIVERY ON DATE REQUESTED / DELIVERY RESCHEDULED

Oh really? I told them I wanted a future delivery date? That's amazing, considering they were able to deliver one of the two packages.

This is not the first time these fucking clowns have pulled this shit.

I love it when the website shows that the package was delivered and signed for, yet it doesn't show up until hours later, or sometimes even a day or two later. They usually don't bother with a signature when they do that either, they just leave it.

Very good chance the shipper WON'T get a refund - they are not responsible for most weather condition-related delays. That being said, the shippir may choose to refund it.
