UPS called to announce a package will arrive tomorrow

Thank heavens if my beloved X360 arrives tomorrow. I didnt expect it back for at least another 2-3 weeks, as I only sent it off 2 weeks ago, and I'm not expecting any other packages. I got BioShock, and a pair of new Tritton 5.1 headphones waiting on it. They may have just packed up a new one since my problem wasnt the 3 red ring issue, which I imagine most their techs are trained to quickly deal with. Mine would just lock up on the splash screen.

That's pretty fast. Mine took over 5 weeks.

Mine took 2 weeks and 3 days from when I called them about the RROD.

Mine took 6 days, but that was a few months after launch.

I also had to call 3 times to get them to send it.

Next time I'm just going to call 3 times the first 2 days to make sure they actually send it. MS is worthless.

Wife just called and confirmed the xbox has been delivered. I was a little off on the dates though. MS received the package 8/30, and I just got it back today, 9/18.

it took them two weeks just to send the repair box, then another one for shipping, and two more to send me a new box

I know there was a period of time when MS was flat out of their shipping boxes. I imagine some of you got caught up in that. It was probably right after one of the times MS extended the warranty.

Yeah, thats what i was wondering. Then again, this is the first package I've received that required a signature in years. Seems like it was standard policy for UPS to get signatures on packages several years ago, which doesnt seem to be the case anymore.

I think the Shipper specifies whether or not sig is required.
