Years ago, I remember calculators where you just selected the item and it figured the voltage. Now days, all I can find are calculators that want you to look up the voltage draw on the item. Are the old style calculators still around, I don't want to look all this up?
Right now, I have an APC 1000VA Tower UPS and a standard surge protector. My utility company sucks, especially as it gets hot. I want to protect my equipment and have enough time to shut it down when the power goes out and then comes back on. The APC is 4.5 years old, not sure if the battery is still 100%.
Want surge, brownout and battery backup (5-10 min) protection for:
60" plasma TV (use as computer monitor)
Gaming PC
Def Tech BP 2006 (doesn't have to have battery backup, optional)
Def Tech 2300 (doesn't have to have battery backup, optional)
Denon 3313 AVR (doesn't have to have battery backup, optional)
Dish DVR
Oppo 103 DVD
Wii (doesn't have to have battery backup, optional)
Modem
Wireless router
Wired switch
TIA
