UPS (APC) voltage regulation

What are the odds that I need severe voltage regulation. I was thinking about getting a UPS since equipment in my house has randomly died before, but as usual, I am putting it off. In addittion, I have an old APC UPS 350VA which is quite useless due to a dead battery. I was interested to see what its capabilities in voltage regulation might be with the bad battery. I ask because I have a lot of equipment on one breaker.

type/respond.

i don't think that model (at least the current version) has AVR - the 500VA and up are the only ones that have that feature (and only on certain model lines).

i have both computers, my network (incl. cable modem) and my home theater on UPS's. i wouldn't have it any other way...in fact, i burned up two cable modems in three months before putting a UPS on it - haven't had a problem since.

yes, our electrical service sucks. i'm installing a new 200 amp meter/box as soon as i finish rewiring the rest of the house.
