Today my house electrical went out. When it came back my computer wouldn't boot. When I finally got it to boot I got errors for hours and it wouldn't allow me to repair my installation at all.
Eventually after an inhuman amount of patience and a bit of luck I have managed to get into windows and I am in the process of backing up the drive.
My question is what would be a good UPS device with battery back up that would basically regulate the current and allow me to back up in emergency?
