I'm in the market looking for one of these upright/docking external harddrive stations, like this one: KINGWIN EZD-2535 2.5" & 3.5" Black USB2.0 & eSATA Hard Drive Docking Station

Am curious what are the recommends from the community, ones to consider and ones to avoid. I have eSata already, and the docking unit will be used on XP pro 32bit.

If I can hotswap drives in the docking station without a reboot then that would be a plus, but I don't mind rebooting my rig to swap the drives if that is necessary or if the hot-swap features drives cost up excessively.

Budget is $100, naturally if a $30 unit will meet my needs then I have little interest in spending another $70 "just because".

But I do value quality, so please don't let me shortchange myself by buying a cheap low-quality unit if a quality one can be had for a few dollars more.

Newegg is not required, I just use them to rough-out my price/options list before I start phase 2 (bargain hunting, comparative shopping).

For example, this Rosewill unit has all the right marketing buzzwords in it that seem to suggest it is exactly what I want, any arguments against this unit?

Rosewill RX-DUS100 2.5" & 3.5" SATA to USB2.0 & eSATA Hard Drive Docking Station

$35, free shipping, hot-swap, esate, rosewill (newegg rebrand, right?)...what's not too like?
