Upping the space and speed

This past weekend, I did lots of work and earned some spending money, I am thinking about replaceing my 2 raptors in raid 0 with 2 seagate 320 perp drives in raid 0. I could use the space and the noisewould be moer tolerable. If ther perfermance increase worth it? Has anyone done this same upgrade? Thanks for all your help. Specs in sig.

As long as you are going to do that, why screw around with RAID 0? It gives you 640 GB of total storage, but a malfunction of either drive loses you everything. Why not keep your Raptor as a OS drive, and then add two 320s as a RAID 1 or 5 or JBOD data drive?

What exactly does Raid 5 do? Cuz that is defantly something i would be willing to look into.

I think im just gonna do the 320s in raid 0 i dont need raid 5. I dont have important enough stuff to worry about losing.
