Does anyone have any experience with this on an ABIT KT7-Raid? I have an old stick of 128 PC-100 and wanted to see if I could put it to some use.

Try it and see if it can handle the speed... come back if not. All i know about is making sure you're using CAS 3 not 2, I don't know if changing timings would help.

But what settings in the BIOS do I need to change? I'm a novice at overclocking much of anything.

ptu yoru CAS settings to 3-2-3...
Ras precharge = 3
Cas latency = 2
CAS/RAS precharge = 3

should post at least...i imagine....if u set your cas latency cycles too low, your system
may not post - happened to me...had to remove my CMOS battery and put it back in to clear
my CMOS since my stupid board doesn't have a CMOS discharge/reset anywhere listed in the manual
or on the board (that i could care to look for)...oh well.

You may find it comforting to know that I originally had my 1.15Ghz Athlon overclocked from 1Ghz using nothing more than generic PC100 SDRAM.

I just recently invested in some Infineon PC133 SDRAM, and moved my old PC100 into another computer.

Sure my memory scores are higher with the PC133 Infineon RAM, but the performance gain with PC133 is barely noticable from the PC100 that I was using.

Personally, I would just keep the PC100 and see how it works for you. It may end up working just fine.

I switched the DRAM clock from Clock to Clock + FSB (in order to get the 133). The system posted fine, but after Win2k began boot up (following the auto scandisk of the hdd) the machine restarted.
Any ideas?

Don't have clue... but my ol' stick of PC100 is stable at 146 CAS 2 :) Oh yeah what happened after the restart?

My front side bus will not do anything higher than 105
Your best bet is to move it up in 1 mz increments until stability is acheived, I would set it at cas 3 for pc 100 for stability reasons, try the turbo setting and try clock&Host to get 133mz

i went back to the normal dram settings, the system posted and loaded win2k fine. windows recognized the extra ram, but I assume it's not running at 133, right?
