I used to watch regular cartoons, but hate Southpark because it seemed to just be obsessed with being crude.
Now I don't watch regular cartoons because they suck (this includes the Simpsons), but I watch Southpark regularly because it's got some depth to it (which I didn't realise so much as a kid).

I'll watch the WB stuff but modern anime crap is like old school Nickelodeon* but with explosions.

*For those too young to remember: Nickelodeaon got it's start as a day time only cable channel showing nothing but bizarre French cartoons targeted at pre-schoolers, mostly with no dialog.

Modern cartoons make me sad for the people that actually watch them.

I can't watch any of that cartoon network stuff (sealab, random show w/ guy w/ no arms, etc). Those retro cartoons that replaced the old adult swim. Wierd stuff.

No, the last non-sucky cartoons were Darkwing Duck and Tiny Toons Adventures, They have all sucked large hairy balls since then.

I watch king of the hill, southpark and family guy. Also catch random adult swim stuff when I get the chance.

Was a bit confused by this at first. I thought, "but he spelled it right :Q!" Then I realized that the OP didn't in the poll .

EDIT:

There are very few that I go out of my way to watch, but if there is a cartoon on and I am finding it entertaining, well I'll leave it on. The main ones I see somewhat regularly are Family Guy, Simpsons, South Park, Futurama, and Sons of Butcher.

I won't not watch something just because it's a cartoon. Yeah, I don't like a lot of the new stuff, but Fairly Oddparents is decent.

I like old cartoons that had real substance. Everything now is designed to be loud and flashy and assumes every kid has ADD. Just seems to be designed to keep their attention. Gone are the days of GI Joe, Thundercats, Voltron, Transformers, TMNT.. original content. Every the old after school stuff--Duck Tails, Rescue Rangers, Darkwing Duck.. I loved that stuff and I'd watch it if it were still on as an adult.

EDIT: This of course excludes adult cartoons designed for adults but made to appease kids too (Futurama, Family Guy, Simpsons, etc)

I saw that Rescue Rangers was on some channel the other day. I was hoping maybe Duck Tales would be on afterwards, but no luck :(

I can honestly say I like watching Spongebob with my kids. Fairly Odd Parents also has alot of hidden adult humor in it.

Your pole sux.

I am an adult who doesn't watch cartoons, but I also don't watch AI or Lost.
(I never did understand how people could buy into the whole "Lost" scenario..
(and why is the one greasy-looking guy still so fucking fat if they've been lost on the island for 3-4(?) years?

Everyone would be skinny and undernourished like Tom Hanks was in "Cast Away"

An undeveloped island like that should be seriously lacking in the food sources necessary to support people enough to be so fat.
(unless he's eating the other survivors)

Well they did find a tonne of food from the underground shelters a long time ago, plus there has been an entire society living on that island for a long time with a full stock of food, so I guess he is maintaining his fatassiness through that.
