Hey everyone, i'm starting a musical online UTube thing. Mainly for guitar but anyways... I had a couple questions. 🙂

What file format should I record into (for good sound and good quality) for small enough file to go to utube?

And... What program should I use to Compress the video file?

I'm using windows movie maker, is it adequate?
 
I just posted my first video to YouTube last week. The file limit is 10MB. I was compressing from an .avi file. I used Windows Media Encoder and just played w/ a few different compressions until I got the file to 9.5MB. The sound is better than the video on mine. I believe I used progressive download, VHS video and the high version of FM audio.
