How do I put pics into a web page with comcast? I've seen several people with comcast links for their photos and I would like to as well.

I am a comcast cable customer.

Thanks.

Hmm.

First, you'll have to activate your webpage if you haven't already. Do that here(You will need your UID/PW). It should be http://home.comcast.net/~(username)/

You can either do it through a 3rd party FTP program(much easier), or you can go through their site.

If you want to go the HTTP method, go here. You'll need to know your username and password(same as for your Comcast email).

From there, you can select File Utilities, and select HTTP File Uploading.

To use a 3rd party FTP program, you must first get the program. :p I recommend and use FlashFXP.

For the server to connect to, put "upload.comcast.net". Your username and PW are the same as above.

You can then create directories and upload files as you wish. The limit is 25mb per associate emails(150mb total in 6 emails).

Hope that helps, just post if you have any questions. :)

If you're new or unfamiliar to FTP one of the easiest programs to use is WS_FTP.

Great post Eli, thanks!

When I try to transfer a .jpg (scanned into Photoshop 7 and saved with the default quality settigs, etc.) I get a failed message.

Is there something wrong with the file type or something? Anyone know what my problem is?
Using flashFXP
