Uploaded my first iPhone 4S video

Not bad! Definitely gives you an idea on the strengths and weaknesses of the 4S; but impressive for a phone regardless.

Thanks! I'll upload the second video this week - testing out color grading this time. The first one is just raw footage clipped together. I'm surprised - there's actually a LOT of good color information in the phone's camera. On the 4S using Extreme recording mode in Filmic Pro, I get a bitrate of nearly 50Mbps, so you can get some really high quality footage from the device. Here's a small color grading sample with some tinting & noise cleanup:

Plus it's just so convenient to shoot with. Lives right in my pocket, goes anywhere, ready to film in seconds. I like it so much I started up a little website:

Sort of a projects & neat smallcam stuff blog.

Gorgeous. This is also why I need a non-crappy tripod.

Thanks! I'm using a small Gorillapod for most of my shots:

Then my bigger beast for the sliding shots:

The iPhone looks ridiculous on top when I'm out filming...people are always like, you're shooting with that?! And then they see what's on the screen and are like "whoa"

Joby released a couple tripods designed to live on your camera (they fold in underneath), which are nice for quickie shots too:

The 250 model is for smaller cameras & the 800 is for medium-sized cameras.

Wow, wasn't really expecting anything going in, but nicely done. Some of those shots looked really, really good.

Thanks! I'm building a weighted mount for my Steadicam this week - I'm excited to see how the footage comes out using the wide-angle Olloclip lens strapped onto the iPhone, flying around on a gimbal :awe:

nice quality. what's those squiggly lines in the lower left (inside the lens flare area) at 1:16? Dust on the lens? Kinda looks like those lines you see if you rub your eyes and stare somewhere.
