Yet, when I post the image does not appear below my username? Shows up in the profile editor without issue. Would the forums indicate that the size is not correct when uploading from my local computer?

Basically no errors generated, picture appears as if it'll display when I post next time but, yet there's nothing there? :S
 
Are you talking about an avatar - as in my smiling beer? From what I see you have no avatar chosen, only a profile picture which is a different thing and appears when someone views your profile.
