I noticed that 4 port routers with wireless go on sale for less than the access points. Therefore, I'm planning on getting a 4 port router with wireless. Here's the deal:

I have a Linksys BEFSR41 with WAN port, 4 ports for computers, and an uplink port.
I'm planning on getting a Netgear MR814 4 port router and wireless. The MR814 has 4 ports for computers and a WAN port.

How would I plug the BEFSR41 into the MR814 and have them work together? What settings would I have to change? I'm really only trying to use the wireless on the MR814. To get into the settings would I try to get into the settings for the MR814 or BEFSR41. MR is 192.168.0.1 and Linksys is 192.168.1.1. HELP!

the EASIEST way is to skip the WAN port on the linksys and just plug the cable into one of the regular LAN ports. You'll use the Netgear as your router, and the linksys as simply a 4 port switch.

the more difficult way is to put them in serial and just deal with having two dhcp servers & a double NAT. There are about 10 ways to set this up properly but it will be somewhat ugly no matter what.

hmm....the easiest way to do it seems to be the way Jack said so far....hmmm...I'm just waiting for the sales on a good wireless router to come back now
