I'm looking for a cheap upgrade ($100-$150 with or without rebate).

I have a i5-4670K stock, MSI gaming mobo Z87 and 8GB ram. Also Antec Neo 520w psu.

My 22" monitor is only 1680x1050 but when it dies of course I'll have a 1920x1080. Soon like to play BF4 and just starting the new America's Army Proving Grounds beta.

I'm also green, so I tend to lean Nvidia, but as long as idle power is low, I'm not too concerned about when I'm gaming.

I was looking at a 750ti superclocked, but was told that was kind of weak for 1920x1080.

Thanks

I can get ASUS 2GB 750ti for about $120 or EVGA 2GB for about $130 with a bunch of free games. After rebate prices.

Hmm...I don't like those brands of 270X...and the XFX Double D is a bit out of my price range, even after rebate. Maybe I'll wait a bit for the price to drop.

find a 2gb one for less, the 4gb will be worthless for that card, its not powerful enough to use it.

Otherwise, the 270x is a great choice.

The only advantage the 750ti has is performance per watt and slightly newer OpenGL support. Unless you are power constrained then you want a 270X, which is significantly faster. You're getting a billion more transistors for the same price, or possibly even less price.
