to

2.4C
Abit IC7-G
Radeon 9600 XT
DDR 433

is it worth it?

imho its not that big of a performance increase with the new cpu

but the new vid card would be much faster!!

The 1.6a still has some kick in it. If only your board would let you, that chip can hit 2.13 with relative ease.

i know, its the board i want to change mainly but te 800fsb doesn't support 1.6A, but anyways i will prob upgrade to 2.4C and give this to my dad

I think that would be much worth it. 800 Mhz Bus Northwood core with a 9600xt , no doubt.
