Hello this is my first time posting here I have been reading the site for a while. I am thinking of upgrading my computer to a P4 2.4C however I am not sure what motherboard I should get I have read good things about many of them. Right now I am thinking about the Asus P4P800 Deluxe however I do not know if this would be the best one or not I am kind of on a budget so I dont want to spend too much. Also what is good DDR 400 ram that does not cost too much? I am planning on overclocking this computer as well so I well need something that well do this well. Any opinoins would be great thanks for your time

Edit: I am looking at 2 peices of DDR400 512MB right now
 
I have the P4P800 deluxe and I am happy with it so far. For a budget computer its hard to do much better than the P4P800 Deluxe or Non-Deluxe. As for memory, there is a list of approved memory for the P4P800 in the manual on the Asus website, but chances are most RAM will work. Personally I am using 2x512mb Corsair 3500C2 that happened to be on the list.
