Upgrading Wheels

We all know a nice set of wheels can really make a car look great...

as such, I am interested in getting some wheels for a 2006 Audi A4, perhaps like the ones in this picture. I have no idea where to start as i've never purchased wheels/tires before.

Any reputable places able to ship to Canada and perhaps assistance in finding something similar to the picture.

Thanks 🙂

Tire Rack is the most logical place to shop for wheels and tires. Even if you don't buy them from there you get to see the wheels on your car and they have a hell of a lot of wheels to look at then buy them from other places. They even ship to Canada too. All prices are still in U.S. dollars.

Tire Rack, Discount Tire, 1010 Tires, etc. are all great places to window-shop.
At least your's won't be hard to find.

Try finding a nice looking set of wheels with a 5x108 bolt pattern and high offset (Lincoln LS and several Volvos).

The wheels in the pic look nice. Your best bet might be, as someone mentioned, do some research on Audi forums to see what other people have gone with, and then decide.

I've had good results buying tire/wheel assemblies from Tire Rack and their customer service was 1st class.

Custom / replica wheel vendors do show up on ebay so you may want to try there for vendors - not necessarily buy on ebay. They usually have their own site. From my perusal on tirerack, they have some well-priced options but they're not the best you can find out there.

first link in your last post doesn't work.

those five spokes are icky, though.

make sure you've got the right wheel bolts and centering rings for whatever you buy.

I just placed an order on some wheels last week..

Getting these.. same size and color, different offsets and it'll be for a black G35 coupe, not an S5.

Check if your Audi forums have a marketplace of sorts? I getting mine from a vendor on a G35 forum.

what year is your G35? do you have the different set of wheel size? my 07 sedan has the sports wheels and they are different size, front and back...and how much you pay for them?

Mine's an '05.. Stock is 18x8 +30 225/45 in the front, 18x8 +30 245/45 in the rear. I'm upgrading to a 19x9 +20 245/35 front and 19x10 +20 275/35 rear. Wheels alone were $1400 shipped.. adding tires and TPMS put the total close to $2500. Believe sedan fitment requires a higher offset.

Why are the five spokes icky?

What do you like on that car?

they just don't look right. both of your options look like cheap 'baller' wheels to me.

the wheels in imported's post are nice, as would be most any BBS wheel on that car (those look like RX's. CH's would be nice, too). depends on what you want to spend. there are decent quality bbs knockoffs around.
