Here's my dilemma. I'm currently running Vista Ultimate 32 and I have a full retail copy and an upgrade copy, also retail. I want to go to 64bit Home premium. With the upcoming release of Win 7 I figured that Ultimate 7 isn't worth my time or money so I would want to go 64 bit Win 7 Home . I also have 2 upgrade copies of Vista home premium but those are 32 bit. Everything I have is retail. My questions are
1- can I use my 64 bit Vista Ultimate media to install Vista 64 Home Premium using my Home premium key ? I'm talking about a clean install.
2-should I just wait a month and do a clean install of Win 7 Home 64 ?
In the first scenario I'm talking about the double install method. In the second I'm not sure if Win 7 allows it so I might have to go for the full version which would leave me with about 4 useless Vista keys.
All of my important files are backed up so reinstalling the programs shouldn't be a problem.
