Hi!
I have a pentium 3 550 mhz(2x agp) with gf2mx200

would it make a difference if I upgraded to an ATI Radeon9200?

cause my games are wayy to slow, and I just need something to run games at 640x480 low settings.

(max payne is running awfully slow, even on low settings at 640 by 480 and the old half-life is getting on my nerves)

I don't really have enough money to upgrade my CPU and mobo, so thats why i want to upgrade my video card only.

suggestions?

Best card for that is a used Geforce 3 or GF3 ti from the FS/FT forum for $40-50 shipped, even a ti200 is at least double the performance of your current card.

not really, since most games nowdays require a certain speed cpu. for example, warcraft 3 requires 400mhz, and even my 1800+ lags to that game. u might as well get a new computer. its not really worth upgrading it, because its performance will still be poor.
