OK, I've been reading and thinking and trying to get up to speed about this, and I realize I'll have to do a much more extensive upgrade. Because of cost that'll have to wait.
Some time after the holidays or even next spring, I'll probably go for a new mobo, dual core cpu, memory, and vid card. Hoping to re-use my case, ps, hd's and dvd burner.
However, I'd like some advice on upgrading by video card for the time being. I figure I can get a cheap card (woefully outdated, no doubt) but still twice as good as my present one. This is just for the short term and won't be part of my upgraded rig. I'd look on ebay or some of the forums for a used one.
Any advice, since I know very little on these matters.
