Upgrading to PCI-Express

I'm going to upgrade my system to PCI-Express. I was looking at replacing the Motherboard and Video Card. I want to know if I will have to replace anything else. I have listed my current system below, and the parts I'm upgrading to. Please let me know what you think.

Current System
A64 3800+ Venice
ASUS A8V Deluxe
2GB PC3200 OCZ Platinum
Enermax 420W Noisetaker
BFG 6800 GT AGP

New Parts
ASUS A8N-SLi Premium
ASUS Extreme 7800GTX

Gee, I thought I read that the 7800 GTX uses less energy than a 6800 Ultra or something like that. You can really use that current rig with a 420 watt noisetaker?

Anyway, I don't see anything wrong. You can usually download the manuals on the Asus web site.

That would be borderline for the PSU. As long as you weren't OC'ing the rig, I'd think you'd be OK. Enermax can dish out a lot beyond their rated power. Do you have a lot of HDD's/lights/fans?
EDIT: Saw your rig link. 2 HDD's and 2 Opticals shouldn't stress it. How many fans/lights though?

I wouldn't bank on it. nVidia only certifies a small portion of PSU's for SLI. And they are all over 500W. But I think you should be okay with a single GTX.

Also, thinking of upgrading the processor perhaps? X2 maybe? 😀

I have a DVD Burner, DVD-ROM, 2 harddrives, and a 120mm Fan.

I think you'd be good. I'd try it out and see if you have any weird issues first. According to the PSU Power Calc and nVidia's 7800GTX figures, you're hitting just over 380 Watts with a dual 7800GTX setup and the guts of your current rig.
