Ive just been offered £100 ($200) for my XFX 8800gt, ive been reasonably happy with this card ive had it since last october (at launch)

So if i do sell the card this i will need a new video card ive been looking at the 4850, and 4870 which will mean an £25 or £70 upgrade, i like the 4850 but the heatsink/fan looks weak just like the one on my 8800gt and a i would prefer a quieter, cooler graphics card

i game at 1680x1050 (22" monitor) and would like the card to last me a year running games on high with some light AA and AF

One other question is will my PSU be able to handle the cards?

The rest of my PC is like this

Corsair VX 550w (47A 12v rail)
Q6600 - 3.0ghz
2GB OCZ 2x1GB
Gigabyte P35-DS3L
1 320gb HDD

The 8800GT is a great card, but you can buy it NEW for $150. SO...an offer of $200 is a no-brainer! Take the money and run. Then decide what new, better card you will purchase.

Well its still around £110 ($220) in the UK, and ATI always sells badly so they are always priced more similarly to the US market

Any replies on the PSU being good enough would be appreciated

Yes a VX550 would be enough for any of the cards you listed. Just don't do any dual card configurations.
