Upgrading to a 7600GS

I am upgrading to a Geforce 7600 GS from a 6600 for $70.

I have checked the benchmarks but I have a question.

How well does the 7600GS overclock. Stock speed of 400mhz core/ 800Mhz memory.
How high does it typically go?

Most reviews i've read say 500 core,890 memory. That should bring it close to a 6800gt.

You should maybe check the FS/FT for a 7600GT if you need the performance. I recently sold one for $75.

happy medium: maybe not.. The 6800 GT runs at 350/1000 MHz, and it has 4 more pixel pipelines and also has a 256 bit memory instead of 128 bit.

An overclocked 7600gs will come somewhere in between a 6800 and 6800gt at 1280x1024.

These benchmarks are at stock speeds for the 7600gs add 4 or 5 fps for overclock.
