Upgrading to 144hz monitor

Hey guys, coming from a 19" Acer 1600x900 I've rocked for a long time. Time to upgrade and I caved in on the Asus 24" monitor that does 144hz. It has light boost technology as well.

My question is there a recommended guide to tune/setup/calibrate these special monitors?

FWIW, my rig:

2500 @ 3.8(need to get it over 4ghz)
6gb ddr3
670gtx
ssd

This new G-sync feature, which looks to be awesome, is going to come with a kit that is able to use it on the Asus VG248QE. I think I'd look into that monitor, personally. It is also a great deal if you live in the US.

The colors while the monitor is in Lightboost mode are pretty awful, but the motion clarity is improved over 144 Hz mode. There's definitely a trade off. The colors in 120-144 Hz non-lightboost mode are what you would expect from any other TN panel.
