Is there wanyway to reactivate a trial of XP x64 to a purchased license rather than having to install it again (And thus update everything again)?

You might be able to do a repair setup with the full version, over the trial one, which should then keep your installed apps and files intact.

However, thats just pure speculation from me, as I've never tried, but it may be worth having a go first.

If the activation already expired then you will probably have to do a re-install but all your apps and stuff will be there.

If you can still boot then all you need to do is change the key to the legit one.

Okay so let's say I activate now and buy the full version (assuming I don't change my mind to SP2 and this whole thing doesn't matter) in two months. Trial is halfway through, so I can still obviously boot. I would just need to change the key? How is that done?

Last I heard, there was no way to do what you want; you'd have to reinstall.
