i have a set of 17" on my g35 coupe with Front 225/50-17 Rear: 235/50-17

I want to upgrade to a set of 18" OEM wheel/tires with 225/45-18 front, 245/45-18 rear.

other than a good alignment are there anything else I should be worrying about?

TIA

Why do you want to "upgrade" to larger OEM wheels? OEM wheels are usually very expensive for what you get. Look into a quality aftermarket set which will probably be cheaper/lighter and get to choose many different styles/colors.

im getting the 18's used with tires and TPMS for 400. those g35 oem wheels are rays forged. i dont think i can get any decent aftermarket wheels for 400.

As far as I know the only rays forged wheels on the coupe were the 19" ones that came with the sport package, those weigh 19lbs up front and 21lbs rear. The 7 spoke oem 18s weight ~24lbs ea and are 18x8 on all four corners. I do believe at one point the Track model 350z did have oem rays forged 18s.

Might want to ask over on G35driver.com to make sure though.

Street prices of some OEM wheels are pretty cheap. I picked up a almost new set of 18" OEM lexus wheels for $400. Dealer wants $400 just for one. Of course this doesn't apply to all cars and trucks but you can definitely find some good deals out there.

yes, worry about possible vibration... these aftermarket wheel/rims are driving me nuts still. I dont' want to spend another $1k each on new tires or new rims either.

nothing, as the wheels and tires are good.

not sure how much it may throw off the speedometer but I doubt by much

look a lot better.. and you will pay more for tires
