Anyone know if this could be done, and if so what kind of processors are acceptable by the laptop? I have a 1.6 celeron right now in there, and wanted to upgrade to a 2.0 celeron. Is there such thing as mobile celeron or no? Thanks!

There is a mobile Celeron processor as far as I know, but you can't upgrade the CPU in a laptop. I mean, you CAN, but first you have to find a place selling mobile CPUs (good luck), then you immediately void whatever of your warranty you have left by opening the machine. OEMs won't upgrade CPUs, either, which means you have to buy a new laptop.

I was wondering about this also

I have an HP ZE4101 (Celeron 1.6G (slow))

I wanted to up grade to the P4 1.7Ghz

I will be taking in my laptop in for service, I will ask the service tech.
