I have a Toshiba Satellite A75. The sound on this laptop isn't very loud or that great. I was thinking about getting one of those PCMCIA sound cards for louder, better sound. The problem is when I started searching the interenet I figured out that I really didn't have any idea which ones were good. I like to play a lot of games so what would you guys recommend?

Thanks
Mike

a pcmcia card wont make it any louder with the notebook speakers if thats what youre thinking. if you want louder youll need external speakers like the altec lansing mx 5020s. I have them and theyre plenty loud for portable notebook speakers.

Thanks for the reply guys. I have looked into the audigy 2 (ouch.. thats going to hurt my wallet). I already have some nice logitech speakers hooked up, and it still isn't as loud as some of my other computers. I also use headphones while traveling so I'm thinking it has the be the sound card. Thanks
