Im soon going to be putting a P42.4B in a granite bay mobo, with 512MB samsung Pc2700 ddr. Video is a Gainward Geforce 4 Ti4200, Have sound card, TV tuner, and modem. About 6-7 fans will need power, a 30GB WD Hd, CDRW/DVD combo dirve, and floppy. The PSu is an Enermax whisper EG365P-VE(FC) --350watt. Im going to overclock the processor and video. Will this be enough, or do you think I will need a more powerful one?

Im getting one with C1 stepping, and a swiftech HSF, so im planning on pushing this chip good and hard. What would you suggest for power?

If you want the best, Antec True Power.

He reckons 350w just about enough but cutting it a little fine so next step up is 380w 🙂. The Antec True Power 380w actually rated >400w on some THG roundup a while back, whilst most 400w wouldnt even reach it.... If you want more lastability go for the 430w, its only a few £ more over here anyway so seems little point not getting the extra 50w. Another Enermax would be fine too 🙂
